The La Fattoria di Tatti B&B nestles in the hills and looks out over olive groves, woods and fields down to the sea.
It stands just outside the Medieval village of Tatti and is a combination of 19th century architecture and simple modern furnishing.
This is a delightful place in which to relax and get away from it all. At the entrance there is a wide stone staircase.
There is no lift.
Our spacious living room offers a large library as well as a television.
Our beautiful terrace, perfect for just hanging out and enjoying doing nothing, is on the same floor and looks out over the sea and the islands of Elba and Corsica.
To suit every taste and custom… home-made jams, honey, local cheese, cold meat and salami, Tatti’s excellent yoghurt, seasonal fruit, cereals, fresh fruit salad, juices, cakes, coffee, tea and lots more.
Let us spoil you!
It certainly isn’t surprising that towards the end of the 1800s the Marquis Giovanni Barabesi Bourbon di Petrella chose this magnificent site for the construction of his summer residence.
Nuns set up and ran a college and summer holiday home there for poor children. Was used as a base by the police.
More recently, Ruedi Gerber, who fell in love with the place, restored and transformed, creating a romantic B&B.
With the help of the architect Pia Schmid, the existing architecture has been maintained where possible.
