About us

La Fattoria di Tatti is a special place born from the vision of Ruedi Gerber, a Swiss director and entrepreneur who has been in love with Maremma and its traditions for many years.

In the 1990s, Ruedi purchased the Sequerciani estate, located just minutes from the village of Tatti, now a biodynamic farm and winery. He then decided to breathe new life into another corner of the village: La Fattoria, a historic B&B that has been revitalized while preserving its authenticity.

The building, once a noble palace, retains the charm of its historical architecture on the outside, while inside it expresses a unique contrast, with a modern and eccentric style that makes every room fascinating and unexpected. The interior spaces, designed by interior designer Virginia Maissen, create an atmosphere of great personality, where the classic and the contemporary blend in a surprising way.

Today, Sequerciani is a fully biodynamic farm producing natural wines from indigenous grape varieties, extra virgin olive oil, pasta and flour from ancient grains, and honey, all certified Demeter.

Since 2016, the restaurant/pizzeria Il Barrino di Tatti, with its panoramic terrace and stunning views of the hills stretching to the sea, has been part of our family.

We organize visits and wine tastings directly at the Sequerciani estate (on request).

At the restaurant Il Barrino di Tatti you can taste Sequerciani raw natural wines, pasta and home-made bread and delicious dishes with vegetables from our garden.
